Ballerinas: one, two, three!

The fact is, ballerinas make me feel good about having pale skin.

So here is a lovely trio of ballerinas for your viewing pleasure.

I’m quite liking the central ballerina’s hair, hair accessory and elegantly powdered makeup.

It makes me want to adorn myself with pink, spray on a parfum and twirl around my apartment!

Pale Men

My favorite topic!

So, what do you think of the lovely Finnish Ville Valo – hot or not?

I’m gonna say… quite a hot man! Too bad I can’t pronounce his name!

And what about… sultry Korean boy Son Dongwoo??

Absolutely. Goddamned. Dreamy.

Swoon!

What do you think?

If you’re pale then your teeth mustn’t be yellow!

One huge thing I noticed switching from the tanning camp to the pale camp is that I cannot now rely on the fact that my tan makes my teeth ‘appear’ whiter! Sounds hilarious right but it is so true.

I’m a bit of a coffee addict to be honest so my teeth need extra help in the whitening department.

I’ve been using Dr Georges Dental White since mid January and i’m really happy with the results so far. I havent been using it religiously as I had a bit of unrelated mouth trouble so gave it a break for a while but I can honestly say this product works and i’ll never order anything else.

I ordered the pack that contains two mouldable mouth trays, a bottle of whitener (huge!) and a blue light that i can easily use when I’m watching TV or whatever I happen to do while killing time making my smile better.

I’ve tried the another system, the name I cannot remember for the life of me, anyway – it was a series of tubes full of whitener. Very pricey and did nothing.

Right now my teeth are definitely whiter than they were, enough for me to be pleased with the result. I’m going to keep using it regularly over the next two weeks to get the full effect.

If you are looking for something then you can be confident ordering from here.

Mine arrived in a week!

A Delicate Tee

So this is my favorite fashion item at the moment, this gorgeous ballerina blush pink Tee from H&M.

It looks cute with simple black skinny jeans, ballet flats and a cardigan of sorts. Since i’m ‘pale on purpose’ I think I get a good opportunity to rock the pale ballerina look!

Easy understated chic!

You can check it out here.

A Great BB Cream

So it has been a long time since I posted…

I thought I would share with you my favorite BB cream right now.

It is The Nature Republic Ceramide BB Cream SPF25.

It is such a great BB cream for pale skin because it not only covers blemishes but it also has finely crushed pearl which gives your skin extreme radiance. It looks like a healthy glow rather than overly highlighted.

I love it… even more than Estee Lauder Double Wear!

You can also buy a Collagen BB creme rather than a Ceramide one, the collagen is more matte and seems to be more aging on my skin because it doesnt have the glow of the ceramide. If you are going to try one then I suggest you try it!

DVF

Now if you are pale this is the perfect colour!

I love everything about this DVF silk sky blue wrap dress, it is one of my favorite shades now that i’m untanned. It just makes everything pop!

The Most Outrageous Bodysuit

This is the epitome of hotness!

This amazing bodysuit by Willow looks like something straight out Poison Ivy’s closet. You know she’s the coolest bad girl!

Pretty in Purple!

Alice + Olivia seem to always win when it comes to the right combination of cut and colour.

Here’s my pick of the best this season in terms of the party dress…

I’m loving the lace print! It would look exceptionally classy on a pale babe.

Can I have one?

You can see it here.

Hello, perfect skin!

So i’ve been off dabbling in home made skincare lately and can confirm i’ve found the BEST skin and hair product!

It is our little friend Extra Virgin Olive Oil!

20111129-123543.jpg

I’ve been using the Oil Cleansing Method for about three months now and was going to replace my Shu Uemura but then decided that first, i’d make my own. I’m glad I did! It is simple to use and not overly greasy. All you need to do is massage it into your face when dry, then rinse off. Simple! I use it in the shower but be careful with that because the floor will get a little slippery and dangerous!

It is also good for a body scrub. Just mix olive oil with sea salt and you’re good to go. It is better than a normal store purchased scrub because you step out of the shower completely moisturised – there is no need to apply anything further.

And of course, you can make it into a hot oil treatment for your hair. Just heat it up in the microwave and apply. Don’t make it too hot! You can either sleep with it on or leave it on for an hour then wash it off. I used a 50/50 mix of olive oil and sesame oil. It worked well. It gave my hair a hell of a lot of shine and volume.

Facial scrubs can be made with simply sugar, or you can add other ingredients such as lemon juice and yoghurt.

It is easy, cost-effective, healthy and truly makes your skin and hair shine!

No more Shu Uemura for me – it’s olive oil from now for me. You can use a number of oils such as jojoba oil (good for acne!), coconut oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil or make a mix of them to your liking.
